Research demonstrates that emotional intelligence (EI) is a more powerful predictor of life/work success than is IQ. This course helps participants define their baseline interpersonal strengths either through the Bar-On EQ-i ®, Emotional Intelligence Assessment tool or through a series of informal, mini EI assessments (e.g., measuring variables like empathy, reality testing and self awareness). The Bar-On EQ-i ®, the first scientifically developed and validated measure of emotional intelligence, measures one's ability to deal effectively with daily environmental pressures and demands. It has been used by over one million individuals worldwide.
