Personality and the Workplace

In this workshop participants complete the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Instrument. They learn the relevance of their personality type to their interpersonal behaviors with others and how to effectively leverage differences with them. The course provides participants the opportunity to do some careful self-examination, to enhance their personal strengths, and expand the boundaries of their comfort zone in order to work more effectively with their co-workers.

Major Objectives
In this workshop participants will:

• Complete the MBTI Instrument
• Understand individual type
• Examine ways to self-develop
• Use personality type effectively in the work environment

Instructional Method
This is an interactive course which applies a variety of instructional methods to engage the participants. These include lectures, self-assessments, group discussion, role-plays, group exercises, and the integration of real issues from the participants' work environments.
